Ameristar & Ornamental Fencing
The look of wrought iron with modern durability coatings. HOA-compliant and built for the long haul.
The Distinguished Look
What is Ameristar fencing?
Ameristar is a manufactured ornamental steel fence system: pre-built panels of vertical pickets with factory durability coatings, made to deliver the wrought iron look without the old wrought iron maintenance. The finish is engineered for the long term, which matters in a climate where the sun works on every surface it can reach.
We install Ameristar systems and custom ornamental fencing for homes and commercial properties across the West Valley, along with matching gates fabricated in-house.
Ornamental or wrought iron: which should you pick?
Honest answer: it depends on the project, and we install both, so we have no reason to steer you. Ornamental panels install cleanly and give a uniform look that HOAs like. Traditional wrought iron, fabricated in our own shop, is the pick when you want a design that panels do not come in. At your free estimate we will look at the property and tell you which one actually fits.
Where It Shines
Where does ornamental fencing work best?
- HOA Communities
- Residential Perimeters
- Commercial Frontage
- Ameristar Panel Systems
- Custom Ornamental Work
- Matching Gates
Installation quality matters as much as the panels themselves. Posts get set solidly in concrete, runs are kept straight and level, and on sloped ground the panels are stepped or racked to follow the grade instead of leaving gaps underneath. It is the difference between a fence that looks factory made and one that looks bolted together, and it is why the same fence system can look great on one street and rough on the next.
HOA & Cost
Will your HOA approve it?
Most likely, and that is one of the main reasons people choose ornamental. HOAs generally control fence height, style, and color, and our Ameristar and ornamental fencing is HOA-compliant by design. If your community needs specs for an approval submission, bring that up at the estimate and we will make sure you have what the review board asks for.
What affects the cost?
Total footage and fence height set the baseline. Panel style and grade come next, then gates, and finally site conditions, since post holes in hard desert soil take time to dig. Estimates are free, in person, and turn into a clear written number, not a range that moves later.
Ornamental Fencing Questions, Answered
What is the difference between ornamental fencing and wrought iron?
Ornamental fencing gives you the classic iron look using manufactured steel panels with modern durability coatings, while traditional wrought iron is custom fabricated bar by bar. Ornamental usually installs faster; custom iron gives you total design freedom. We install both and will tell you which fits your project at the estimate.
Is Ameristar fencing HOA friendly?
Our Ameristar and ornamental fencing is HOA-compliant. HOAs typically regulate fence height, style, and color, and the clean, uniform look of ornamental panels is exactly what most West Valley communities are looking for.
Will an ornamental fence rust?
Ornamental systems like Ameristar are made with modern durability coatings designed to protect the steel long term. If an older metal fence on your property has already lost its finish, our electrostatic paint and powder coating service can restore it.
Do you install ornamental fencing for businesses?
Yes. We install ornamental fencing for commercial and residential properties across Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, Surprise, Peoria, and Glendale.
